but, what about global warming
I thought Al Gore was telling the truth about global warming, but I guess "He betrayed this country! He played on our fears!" I've said it all along, global warming is complete and total BULLSHIT! Man cannot control mother nature! The liberals love to hollar that the glaciers are shrinking, the hurricanes are out of control, and it's all the Republicans fault. Republican's and their SUV's! This isn't a scare tactic? Hey liberal, who are driving all those Hummer's, SUV's, and sports cars on MTV Crib's? I bet they aren't Republican!
Anyway's I found these 2 great reads via Drudge Report. One is about the tropical storm season being below normal(Katrina was just the beginning, right?) and the other is about how Greenland's glaciers have been shrinking for 100 years! I Don't remeber there being any SUV's in 1906, maybe it was from all the methane the cow's and horses released when they farted. You know there where so many of them on the roads and in the fields back then polluting the ozone. And to think you had those people who needed 6 horses to pull a carriage! What were they thinking! I know they had automobiles back then, but they where not the craze yet: Ford Model T didn't exist until 1908 and the first moving automobile assembly line came about in 1913!
I wonder how long a modern liberal democrat would last in early America? I'm guessing not very long. I seriously doubt our founding fathers would be to down with radical islam or islam all together, and I doubt they would be to into political figures who undermine their own country and I really doubt they would be ok with the influx of illegal aliens and the tax strain they've put on our people! And we know they didn't like paying taxes!

You see... If you are going to use articles as proof of your conclusion... you should really probably read more than the first paragraph... The article on the glaciers you list... towards the end says...
"A three-to-four degree increase of the temperature on Greenland from 1920 to 1930, and the increase recorded since 1995 has sped up the ice melt," he said.
The effect of the rising temperatures in the 1920s and 1930s was "visible dozens of years later, and that of the 1990s will be (visible) in 10 or 20 years," Yde said, adding that he expected Greenland's glaciers to melt even faster in the future.
The shrinking of the glaciers since the 19th century is "the result of the atmosphere's natural warming, following volcanic eruptions for example and greenhouse gases, created by human activities, which have aggravated the situation further," he said.
So... you see in that first paragraph he points that the increase in temperature since 1995 has sped up the ice melt. He goes on to say that he expects the glaciers to melt even faster in the future. Then goes on to say that natural warming and "... greenhouse gases, created by human activities, which have aggrevated the situation further..." So... since neither of us have seen Al Gore's movie (i know you haven't, you just read about what other people have to say)... I won't back it up... You can say whatever you want about that movie, i could care less... on the off chance you did see the movie (very off chance) i still don't care... i'm not defending it... But to say that global warming is "BULL SHIT"... is bull shit. You even include an article that talks about it... You see, greenhouse gases that are human created, and aggrevating the situation, as he says... means that there is something going on that should be monitored and raise a certain level of concern... The country doesn't need to be in a panic... But, it does need to be monitored... But hey... I'm just going by the article that you have on your site...
Your right I will never see Al Gore's movie. How do you explain the temperature on Mars has going up, what would be the cause of it's global warming? Is that little Mars rover spitting out toxic fumes while it roams the red planet? Do you think the SUN may have something to do with warmer temperatures? Do we really understand how our galaxy and planets really work?
Man has only been keeping accurate weather records for a short time and the earth is billions of years old, so it's hard to say what's causing global warming! Anyways, this is my opinion and you do not have to accept, kinda like how liberals refuse to accept the threat of terrorism.
You should think about changing your blog site to "I am in denial" because the proof is out there and it's not all Al Gore, it's in the article that you cite. It's just as Anonymous says, or did you fail to read her comment as well?
If you choose not to view the movie, it may be that you're not ready for change, not ready to do your part, and that's perfectly fine. But it does not make your opinions any more valid when matched up against scientific fact.

You guys act like the world doesn't work on a cycle! Whatever happend to the "global cooling" that was promised, from scientist, during the 70's? Scientist and people are mixed on global warming and none of us know what will happen, only time can tell!
Why not enjoy life while you can, before some middle eastern asshole decides he wants to end the world!

The fact is that Global Warming (the impact that humans pose to the earth) is speeding up that cycle.

Scientists are unanimous that CO2 has accelerated global warming, with 928 peer review papers agreeing, and zero dissenting. But 53 per cent of media stories claim that global warming is unproven.
You've been reading media stories written by people with no scientific background. No big deal..
